43 miles to be exact. Had a bit of a blast out to the other side of Leamington today. I was tempted to stretch it to almost 60 (which was the original plan) but then opted for the train back from Warwick Parkway as I don't want tired legs to go out with on Sunday. 42 was ok with my conscience today. Another reason for getting the train was that I managed to mistime my journey which meant I would have been in rush hour traffic on the way back and I couldn't be arsed with that either.
I could have cheated and vastly improved my average miles per hour by leaving my GPS computer on (",) heehee. But I didn't.
Big congrats to my mate Rob Lines (www.roblines.blogspot.com) who has just completed the South African Ironman in a little over 11 hours. He must be crazy!

Hi, welcome to my blog. I started riding to work in 2005, then decided to do London to Paris ride for charity in 2007, met some great people, formed a "charity team" with them and haven't looked back since. I've done the Paris ride 3 times now, andplanning on JOGLE at some point, plus if funds allow maybe something more adventurous (the Amazon is currently on the list). I originally started this blog to keep track of training and to let my sponsors see how I was getting on, but now I just post any old crap... all to do with cycling of course (",) and a bit of swimming now.
