I was clearly very lucky. I'm not too sure what happened but I think the van hit my bike, which knocked me out of the way. It was completely my own fault. I didn't look before stepping off the curb.
Irronically due to a completely unrelated incident I am off the bike next few months. I didn't rest a sprained/fractured ankle and now i'm paying the price for not letting it heal properly.
Hi, welcome to my blog. I started riding to work in 2005, then decided to do London to Paris ride for charity in 2007, met some great people, formed a "charity team" with them and haven't looked back since. I've done the Paris ride 3 times now, andplanning on JOGLE at some point, plus if funds allow maybe something more adventurous (the Amazon is currently on the list). I originally started this blog to keep track of training and to let my sponsors see how I was getting on, but now I just post any old crap... all to do with cycling of course (",) and a bit of swimming now.
